Inspired by the gift of music introduced to him at a young age by his father Don Pepe, Pepe Jr. has performed and taught for more than 30 years. Pepe Jr. is committed to making sure the next generation of mariachi musicians receive the highest quality and most authentic instruction possible.
Mariachi Ángeles de Pepe Martinez, Jr. is purposefully composed of musicians from a younger generation to teach them to carry on the mariachi tradition. Mariachi educator Mark Fogelquist dubbed Pepe Jr. “the Mozart of mariachi music.”
