The Charlotte’s Web Bookmobile will hold Pajama Story Time at the Park, a Books & Bubbles event featuring special guests from the nonprofit Sleep in Heavenly Peace.
Community members are invited to join the bookmobile for the family-friendly program, 10:30 a.m.-noon Friday, Dec. 19 at Ryon Park, 800 W. Ocean Ave., Lompoc.
Children and families will enjoy an bilingual story time with stories, movement and bubbles at 10:30 a.m.
Participants can attend in cozy pajamas and join in reading stories about bedtime.
Participants also can interact with representatives from Sleep in Heavenly Peace, a group that aims to ensure every child has a bed to call their own. Sleep in Heavenly Peace serves north Santa Barbara County.
After story time, the Bookmobile will be open to the public at 11 a.m., offering visitors a chance to explore its collection of books and learn about the programs it offers throughout the community.
“The Lompoc Public Library System has been serving the Lompoc Valley for more than 100 years. The Lompoc Public Library System engages, empowers, and enriches our community,” the city said.
