Ventura County Library will host a grand opening for the new Meiners Oaks Library, noon-2 p.m. Saturday, July 20 at 400 S. Lomita Ave., Ojai.

Community members are invited to tour the new library, participate in activities for children, and enjoy an ice cream treat sponsored by the Ojai Valley Library Friends and Foundation. The event is free to attend,

The new Meiners Oaks Library is a partnership between the Ventura County Library and the Ojai Unified School District, and was made possible by a Building Forward grant from the California State Library.
