Blind Fitness will present Inner Vision Sound Journey, a unique yoga-in-the-dark workshop designed to awaken the senses and cultivate inner calm for individuals with low or no vision, as well as the broader community.

The fundraiser event will be 1-2:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 5, and Sunday, Nov. 2 at Power of Your Om, 1221 State St., Unit 201, Santa Barbara. For tickets, click here.

Tickets are $35 per person, with all proceeds benefiting Blind Fitness, a Santa Barbara–based nonprofit that works to empower individuals who are blind or have low vision through adaptive fitness, outdoor recreation, and community advocacy.

The workshop blends sound healing, breathwork, mindful movement, and guided meditation into a supportive, sight-free environment, Blind Fitness said.

Participants will explore gentle, accessible postures guided with verbal cues, allowing them to move with confidence and ease.

Vibrational instruments, including singing bowls and chimes, create a soothing soundscape, while focused breathing practices and meditation invite deep relaxation.

“This workshop invites people to step away from visual distractions and discover the power of sound, breath, and movement in creating balance and calm,” said Ayesha Jetley, certified yoga teacher and sound healer, who specializes in creating accessible and inclusive wellness practices.

“It’s not only an immersive wellness experience, but also a way to directly support programs that empower individuals who are blind or have low vision,” Jetley said.
