The Architectural Foundation of Santa Barbara will present Attention to Loss, an exhibit of drawing, printmaking and sculpture by Pecos Pryor.

The exhibit is Pryor’s debut one-person show in Santa Barbara. Attention to Loss is a response to the question “What do we do with our hands in grief?” With the inability to change tragedy, art making has given Pryor something to do with his hands. The display tells his story.

Community members are invited to attend a reception and meet the artist, 5-7 p.m. Friday Jan. 7 at the Architectural Foundation Gallery, 229 E. Victoria St. As per Santa Barbara County Health guidelines, visitors must wear a well-fitting mask, and the number of visitors inside the gallery at one time will be limited.
