In honor of the International Women’s Day, Antioch University’s Undergraduate Studies Program will host Women Leading Change: Panel Discussion, noon-1 p.m. Friday, March 12 via Zoom.
The four panelists are change agents who have initiated or led changes in organizational life or society in general. They represent politics, government, education, and the corporate sector. They will discuss their leadership role, role models, a proud moment as a leader, obstacles and opportunities that affected their career path.
Each will share one of the biggest lessons they’ve learned from leading the way to a policy, programmatic, or societal change. There will be time for questions from the audience via the chat room.
Facilitator Lois Phillips will ask the panelists a range of questions, including:
● What capacity, traits and skills did you need to develop to lead a change effort?
● What is your proudest accomplishment? Why was it ambitious or difficult?
● Who were your role models?
● Do you believe women and men have a different way of leading? Give examples.
● Which lessons learned would you share with younger women or new professionals who want to gain leadership skills?

The event is co-sponsored by the Women in Leadership Certificate.
