Award-winning Santa Barbara author Paul Levine has written 25 novels, most recently Midnight Patriots, an Einstein-Chaplin novel. He is a recipient of the John D. MacDonald Florida Fiction Award, and has spoken at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books and numerous other literary events around the country. A former reporter at the Miami Herald, he wrote more than 20 episodes of the CBS military drama, JAG, and co-created the U.S. Supreme Court drama, First Monday, starring James Garner and Joe Mantegna.
