Todd Field and Martin McDonagh were recognized for their work with Outstanding Directors of the Year awards Friday night at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival.

Field directed “Tár,” and McDonagh directed “The Banshees of Inisherin.”

Several actors in both movies have been recognized with SBIFF awards this year for their performances in these critically-acclaimed films.

Cate Blanchett was honored with the Outstanding Performer of the Year award for her portrayal in “Tár,” and Nina Hoss was honored with the Virtuosos award for her performance in the film.

Kerry Condon from “The Banshees of Inisherin” was honored with the Virtuosos award Wednesday night, and on Thursday night, Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson were recognized with Cinema Vanguard awards for their performances in the film.
