Junior attackmen Ethan Kan and John Essig combined for nine goals to lead Dos Pueblos to a 15-2 boys lacrosse win at Birmingham Community Charter in Encino on Tuesday.

Goalie Justin Juarez and Max McCeney led a solid defensive unit in the season opener.

“We’re very pleased with the strong start to the season,” said coach Lucas Martinez. “With a lot of young talent on the team, the expectations are high for this year’s squad.”

DP is at Notre Dame of Sherman Oaks on Friday.
