The Brazilian Cultural Arts Center of Santa Barbara (BCACSB) will host the 2025 Brazilian Day Festival 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23 at Casa de la Guerra and De La Guerra Plaza, 15 E. De La Guerra St., Santa Barbara. The festival is free to attend.

“The entire Santa Barbara community is invited to immerse themselves in the vibrant culture of Brazil and partake in the festivities. With the emphasis on inclusivity and cultural celebration, there will be something for everyone to enjoy,” event organizers said.

The festival will include Brazilian bands, dance performances, Carnaval Day parade, Brazilian bikini fashion show, kids fun zone, and beer garden, ethnic cuisine featuring Brazilian barbecue (Churrascaria); and artisanal goods.

“Brazilian Day Santa Barbara highlights cultural artists of all backgrounds with showcases from across the world demonstrating the welcoming and vibrant culture of Brazil, and the inclusive mission of BCACSB,” said Mariano Silva, who produces the event with BCACSB.

The Brazilian Day Festival is supported through a grant from the city of Santa Barbara. For more information and to RSVP for participation, visit www.brazildaysb.com/rsvp.

Silva and his BCACSB team offer cultural art classes that allow participants to experience the tradition of self-expression through music, dance and culture.

“With martial arts, dance, drumming, language and music we encourage our community to embrace diversity and embody self-confidence through classes for all ages and levels,” BCACSB said.
