The Brazilian Cultural Arts Center of Santa Barbara (BCACSB) will host the first Santa Barbara Latin Festival and Salsa Social, 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 3 at the Alhecama Theatre, 215 A E. Canon Perdido St., Santa Barbara.
The family-friendly evening of Latin culture will feature music, dance, authentic Brazilian cuisine, a raffle, and community celebration.
Opening the event will be a salsa dance lesson taught by instructor Erika Martin Del Campo, followed by live music and social dancing with Invasion Latina, a popular salsa band.
Presenting dance performances will be A Mi Manera Dance Company and Brazilian feathered Samba dancers from Agua Doce Dance Company.
