SBAcoustic presents Luca Stricagnoli, an Italian fingerstyle guitarist, 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 17 at SOhO in his first U.S. tour date.

Stricagnoli’s music videos have Internet views exceeding 100 million, and he has bookings in more than 20 countries and in front of audiences up to 12,000 people.

Using up to five guitars in the same piece and modified capos, Stricagnoli leaves his audiences wondering what’s next. The show consists of a succession of guitar performances: One guitar, two guitars at the same time, a guitar with three necks, guitars played with feet, with a kitchen knife or laying horizontally.

From rock to pop, soundtracks to hip hop, arrangements to originals, his performance is surprising and full of twists. His concert is filled with jokes and anecdotes that explain through fun and humor the story behind what’s happening.
