The Lompoc Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce invite the public to the State of Vandenberg Space Force Base luncheon, 11:30 a.m. Friday, May 17 at Vandenberg Space Force Base Pacific Coast Club, 758 Nebraska Ave.

United States Space Force Col. Mark Shoemaker, commander of Space Launch Delta 30, will deliver an update on the state of Vandenberg Space Force Base. As a major employer for both the Lompoc and Santa Maria Valleys, his insight is significant.

Doors open at 11 a.m., and the program will begin at noon. Cost for the luncheon is $40 for members of either chamber, and $50 for non-chamber members. The last day to register is Monday, May 6, no exceptions. Registration must include payment as well as driver’s license number, state of driver’s license issuance, and date of birth.

All attendees much check into the Visitors Center to receive their pass. Base personnel will be at the entrance to the Visitor’s Center and will need to see proof of vehicle insurance, proof of luncheon registration, and driver’s license.
