Assembly member Gregg Hart is hosting a Hike with Hart event in Solvang, in partnership with the Santa Barbara County Trails Council, Santa Barbara Trust for Historic Preservation, and California State Parks, 9-11 a.m., Saturday, April 6.

All community members are invited to participate in the nature walk which starts at 460 Alamo Pintado Road, Solvang.

The hike coincides with Healthy People, Healthy Trails Month, which is a celebration of public trails that takes place each April.

Another Hike with Hart event will be held in Goleta on May 5.

Hart is a member of the Assembly Water, Parks, and Wildlife Committee, which works on policy related to natural resource protection and outdoor recreation.
