The Santa Barbara International Film Festival (SBIFF) has announced the recipients of the 2027 Virtuosos Award, an honor that recognizes a select group of talent whose exceptional work in films has placed them at the center of the conversation around the year’s most noteworthy cinematic performances.
Carrie Coon, Mariana di Girolamo, Rosalind Eleazar, Jordan Firstman, Anthony Ippolito, Jaafar Jackson, Inde Navarrette, and Kate O’Flynn will discuss their work and receive their awards in person on Sunday, Feb. 7 during the 42nd Santa Barbara International Film Festival, which runs Feb. 3-13.
The evening will be moderated for the 17th year by Turner Classic Movies host Dave Karger.
“This year’s Virtuosos are a powerhouse group from the most talked-about films of the season. I think it’s especially fitting that so many of them are international performers and I can’t wait to help welcome them all to Santa Barbara,” said Karger.
