Brothers Emmett and Connor Savage, students at Trivium Charter School in Santa Barbara, have received awards for their high scores in the National Pegasus Mythology Exam.

The national exam, designed for students in third to eighth grades, was administered by Excellence Through Classics earlier this year.

The theme of this year’s exam on ancient Greco-Roman mythology was Theseus. It examined concepts and characters that “meaningfully reflect the cultural narratives of classical antiquity, including those that have historically been under-represented (e.g., the stories of mythological women).” — Excellence Through Classics.
