The highlight of the day is the Taste Makers Market at Home Crush, 2500 Lillie Ave., featuring an array of culinary delights from local chefs, mixologists and artisanal bakers.
Two live bands will provide entertainment.
In a nod to community service, the blood mobile from the American Red Cross of the Central Coast will be present, offering donors a movie ticket and a chance to win a Dodge Ram 1500 in a raffle.
An Instagram contest will run throughout the event, encouraging visitors to showcase Summerland’s offerings.
Participants must tag @summerlandca.visit and the featured business in their posts, with the most prolific poster winning a prize package valued at more than $2,200.
Organized by business owners D’arcy Cornwall, Marie Ferris, Aimee Miller and Leslie Ryan, the Summer Block Party promises to be a day of fun, flavors and community engagement.
From boutique shopping to wine tasting, and from live music to pop-up markets, this event offers a perfect opportunity to experience the best of Summerland’s charm and hospitality.
