The popular Central Coast Kids Got Talent event will return to the Santa Maria Elks Rodeo this year with a qualifier set for 10 a.m. Saturday, April 27 at Santa Maria Dodge Jeep RAM, 1918 S. Broadway, Santa Maria.

Central Coast Kids Got Talent, presented by SESLOC credit union, looks for the brightest stars of tomorrow, so local kids, ages 7-17 will be putting on their best performance to become a finalist for the Central Coast Kids Got Talent Showcase on Thursday, May 30, opening night of the rodeo, which runs May 30-June 2.

Finalists will be posted on CentralCoastKidsGotTalent.com and Elks Rodeo facebook on Sunday, April 28. The finalists will perform Thursday, May 30, during Family Night as the Pre-Rodeo Concert with a panel of local celebrity judges.

The judges will choose a winner in each of three age categories, 7-10, 11-13 and 14-17 for a $200 prize each, while the overall winner will receive a $500 prize, plus, $500 will be donated to a local nonprofit of their choice.

Prizes will be awarded in the form of Savings Accounts courtesy of SESLOC Credit Union.

Audience members will select a fan favorite performance that will receive $100 cash. Judges Specialty Awards will also be awarded for additional scholarships.
