Lobero LIVE will present It’s Magic! at 2 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Saturday, March 9 on the Lobero Theatre stage in Santa Barbara.

The curated ensemble of prestidigitators – featuring a lineup of internation­ally recognized award-winning magicians from Las Vegas and Hollywood’s renowned Magic Castle – includes Jay Johnson, Dana Daniels, Juliana Chen, Les Arnold and Dazzle, and Jason Bishop in his first Santa Barbara appearance.

Johnson and his “unpredictable” wooden partner, aka Bob, offer up some crazy riffs and comic surprises. His comedy ventriloquism performance Jay Johnson: The Two and Only, won him the Tony Award for Best Special Theatrical Event. He also won the Los Angeles Ovation Award for Best Solo Show.

Daniels and Luigi, the “Psychic Parrot,” perform off-the-wall magic blended with rapid-fire comedy. Daniels has performed worldwide on major cruise lines, as well as such clubs as the Improv, Wizards, and the Magic Castle.

Arnold, who works with his daughter (known as “Dazzle”), has one of the funniest magic parody acts on the scene today. The gifted grandson of The Great Leon, Arnold presents illusions in the grand style, with modern twists and audience participation.

Having won the All-China Best Magician, followed by Stage Magician of the Year, Chen went on to become the first magician of Chinese heritage to win the World Championship at the World Congress of Magicians in Germany.

She has since performed worldwide at the London Palladium, the Princess Grace Theatre in Monte Carlo, Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, Tiger Palast in Frankfurt, NHK Theatre in Tokyo, and the Berlin Wintergarten.

Bishop features original state-of-the art magic. Each show offers award winning sleight of hand, exclusive grand illusions, and close-up magic projected onto a large screen.

VIP tickets are $106 (pre-show reception with pizza and ice cream in the Lobero courtyard at 1 p.m. for all VIP ticket buyers (no reception before the 6:30 p.m. show.) Section A tickets are $49 ($29 for children ages 12 and under); Section B tickets are $39 ($25 for children ages 12 and under).
