Pacifica Graduate Institute has announced the start of Pacifica Extension and International Studies (PEIS), the institute’s reimagined continuing education arm, which offers students and lifelong learners opportunities to pursue an array of online and on-campus learning experiences psychology.

PEIS is geared toward traditional and non-traditional learners who seek a more conscious personal and professional development approach. The extension programs provide access to depth psychology scholars and practitioners whose innovative research and expertise are shaping the future of depth psychology in response to today’s global challenges, Pacifica said.

PEIS features a customizable menu of graduate certificates, a continuing education webinar series, career development and personal development learning cafes, and on-campus conferences and community events designed for working professionals, prospective students, and lifelong learners.

PEIS recently introduced a Lifelong Learner membership, which allows non-students to learn from well-known depth scholars and leaders at a nominal monthly or annual fee.

The membership offers complimentary access to PEIS’ Author Spotlight series and Pacifica in the World series, and discounts to all online and on-campus programs.

Members also have free access to the Pacifica Extension Scholars Video Library.
 
Under Pacifica’s VP of Institutional Advancement and Lifelong Learning, Loralee M. Scott, PEIS is dedicated to providing meaningful and accessible programs that meet the needs of a diverse group of learners, Pacifica said.

Graduate Certificate Courses at PEIS present the opportunity to uplevel professional career skills, earn academic credit toward a future graduate degree, earn CEs for licensed professionals, or engage in a deep dive into the latest depth psychological research and emerging applications.

Some subjects offered include Ecopsychology, Ecotherapy, Contemporary Analytical Psychology and Neo-Jungian Studies, Applied Mythology, Applied Somatic Jungian Psychology, and Depth Psychology and Aging.

The Continuing Education Webinar Series, comprised of 60- and 90-minute online learning sessions, lets students earning continuing education credits from their home or office.
