Saturday will bring a brand-new, all-community event at the Calle Real Center in Goleta. The Spring Egg Hunt will feature nearly 5,000 eggs hidden along the storefronts and activities galore for adults and kids of all ages.
The event will begin at 10 a.m. sharp on the south side of Calle Real Center.
Egg hunts can be fun for all ages, but the intriguing aspect will be the Calle Real Passport. Adults are invited to join the fun and grab a passport at registration. The participating business owners sign off on the passport for every visitor. After a passport group is completed, it becomes a ticket for the Giant Gift Basket Raffle.
The raffle features two gift baskets (valued at more than $500 each) bursting with gift cards and items from the Calle Real businesses. Participating businesses include Nothing Bundt Cakes, Los Arroyos, The UPS Store, The Nugget, Blenders in the Grass, Chicken in a Barrel, The Frame-Up, Kumon, Pet House, Pizza Online Company, FedEx, Nikka Ramen, Masala Spice, Nikka Fish Market & Grill, Sushi Teri, Nikka Japanese Market, Golden 1 Credit Union, Fantastic Sam’s, Brain Balance, Baroness Jewelers, Cutting Edge, Meun Fan Thai and Orange Theory Fitness.
“We are thrilled to host this brand-new event at Calle Real. The Towbes Group is centered on building community and what better way than to host a community event that supports local business owners,” said Traci Taitt, vice president of commercial properties of The Towbes Group. “This event is the first of many at Calle Real Center, we are already looking forward to bringing back the Trick-or-Treat event in the fall.”
In addition to the huge egg hunt and passport raffle, the Spring Egg Hunt will host a number of fun activities, including bouncy houses, face painters, a balloon artist, photo booth and a Spring Bunny.
