Two members of the American Institute of Architects Santa Barbara Chapter have been selected to present at the 2026 AIA Conference on Architecture & Design in San Diego, highlighting local expertise on a national stage.
Michael Holliday, FAIA, LEED AP, a principal architect at DMHA, led a session titled “Sustainability & Resiliency in Residential Architecture” on June 10 at the San Diego Convention Center.
Ellen Bildsten, AIA, a principal architect at Bildsten Architecture and Planning, will presented “Leveraging California Housing Laws to Build Community” on June 13.
The AIA Santa Barbara Chapter congratulated Holliday and Bildsten on their selection, noting that their presentations showcase the knowledge and leadership of local architects while representing Santa Barbara at one of the profession’s premier national conferences.
