The Santa Barbara Museum of Art (SBMA) is looking for volunteer docents to engage with visitors of all ages through guided tours to help make artwork accessible to everyone.
For more about the SBMA Docent Program, interested individuals can attend a free docent recruitment reception, 3-5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8 in the museum’s Mary Craig Auditorium, 1130 State St., Santa Barbara.
An art background is not required to be a SBMA docent.
