The community is invited to join a two-night Lunar New Year celebration commemorating Santa Barbara’s Chinatown, 6:30-10 p.m. Jan. 31-Feb. 1 at El Presidio de Santa Bárbara State Historic Park, 123 E. Canon Perdido St.

Produced by the Santa Barbara Asian American/Pacific Islander Solidarity Network in partnership with the Santa Barbara Trust for Historic Preservation, Chinatown Remembered will feature an immersive projection installation co-produced by creative directors The Environment Makers.

Kicking off each night’s event will be a performance by the Camarillo Lion Dance Association.

Chinatown Remembered is made possible through the collaboration and support of local artists, historians, and local organizations committed to promoting inclusivity and understanding.
