The artists for the 46th season of the Santa Ynez Valley Concert Series have been announced, offering what artistic director Robert Cassidy calls “a brilliant array of talent, and fascinating programs.”
“We are so thrilled to welcome back Johnny Gandelsman to the series with the rest of Brooklyn Rider,” Cassidy said. “Then radiant mezzo soprano Sasha Cooke, and the ever-poetic violist Richard O’ Neill join me at the piano in recital.
“An eclectic program starts 2027 focusing on the music of Igor Stravinsky, thanks to the distinguished musicians Rolf Schulte and James Winn.
“What follows is a tour-de-force recital in February featuring the elegant pianist Marta Aznavoorian, and the formidable cellist Ben Solomonow, who are both making their SYV Concerts debuts.
“The final program promises to be full of collaborative energy and excitement as we welcome the esteemed Chamber Music OC to the stage, anchored by the powerful leadership of its founder Iryna Krechkovsky.”
