La Cumbre Jr. High School Academy, teaming with the Santa Barbara School of Performing Arts, will present four performances of “Lion King Jr” May 19-21 in the school’s Jo Ann Caines Theater, 2255 Modoc Road.

Performance times will be at 7 p.m. Friday, May 19 and Saturday, May 20, with 2 p.m. matinees on May 20 and Sunday, May 21.

“The Lion King” is a coming-of-age story about the adventuresome young Simba and his friends, as told by Elton John and Tim Rice.

Admission for the show is $15 general, $5 student, and $25 VIP.
