Light’s Up! Theatre Company will hold auditions in November for the musical “Hadestown: Teen Edition,” a folk opera about love, loss and redemption in a post-apocalyptic, New Orleans-style setting.

Auditions, which are open to high school and early college actors, will be 10:30 a.m.-noon Saturday Nov. 16; 4:30-6 p.m. Wednesday Nov. 20; and Saturday Nov. 23 (time to be determined), all at 2300 Garden St. Santa Barbara.

For the tryout, performers should prepare a brief monologue (30-60 seconds), as well as a song from the show. Check the audition link for available time slots and sign up here.

Callbacks will be in early December.

The show will be performed March 6-9 in The Marjorie Luke Theatre at Santa Barbara Junior High School.
