A crackdown on transients sleeping illegally around Santa Barbara, Nov. 1, led to the citing of six people. Between 10:30 p.m. and 12 a.m., men and women — all homeless — were rustled from their slumber in Pershing Park and areas of the beach along Cabrillo Boulevard.Many of the subjects admitted knowing “lodging” in these areas was against the law.
