Corinne Carrie Harper, 90, of Santa Barbara, passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Born on June 26, 1935, in Santa Barbara, Corrine was the beloved daughter of Sarala Cota-Curtis and John Curtis.
She graduated from Santa Barbara High School in 1954.
Corrine dedicated more than 40 years of her life as a cafeteria manager at numerous schools in the community. She was known for her kindness, hard work, and dedication.
In her free time Corrine enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, and spending time with her family and her dog Bella.
Corinne was preceded in death by her loving husband of 25 years Leslie William Harper; her children Leslie Jr., Sara and Timothy; and her granddaughter Diana Marie.
She is survived by her children Susan and Robert; grandchildren Robert, Sarah, Rudy and Kassandra; great-grandchildren Anthony, Mikayla and Briana Diana; and her great-great-grandson Asaiah.
May the memory of Corinne’s radiant spirit, like a sunflower, bring warmth and light to our lives.
May we cherish the joy she brought and find comfort in the enduring beauty of her love.
A rosary will be held at 3 p.m Tuesday, July 15 Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.
Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 16, with burial following at the Santa Barbara Cemetery.
