The Granada Theatre is accepting applications for its Volunteer Ambassador Program.

Created in 2008 after the renovation of The Granada Theatre was complete, the program has more than 140 volunteers who work as ambassadors for the theater with the community, and serves a key role in delivering the best guest experience for every performance.

The Ambassador Program will hold an orientation at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 27, at The Granada Theatre, 1214 State St. Interested applicants should complete applications (available on the Granada Theatre’s website here), and are required to attend the orientation and theater tour training to become a volunteer ambassador.

The Granada’s volunteer ambassadors help to shape the overall patron theater experience. They facilitate the efficient, professional and safe movement of ticket-holders from the street to their seats in a manner that enhances each patron’s enjoyment of the performance. The volunteers’ mission is to be gracious, welcoming and focused on the patron.

For more about the ambassador program, contact Megan Landry, house manager, 805-899-3000 or mlandry@granadasb.org; also visit www.granadasb.org.
