The Santa Barbara Carriage and Western Art Museum will host a history presentation about Nicolas Den, the Don of Dos Pueblos, 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 15 at 129 Castillo St., next to Pershing Park.
 
Tom Modugno, local historian and creator of the history website Goleta History.com, will walk attendees through Nicolas Den’s life in the Santa Barbara area and on the Gaviota Coast, using photographs to illustrate the story.

Doors open at 5 p.m. and there will be cocktails and barbecue tri-tip served in a casual setting before the presentation.

Tickets are $25 each which includes the cocktails, barbecue and admission. RSVP to events@carriagemuseum.org.
