A fire broke out at a home in the Mission Hills neighborhood near Lompoc Friday night, displacing three residents.
The fire, on the 3200 block of Erica Place, ignited in the back room of the residence.
The family was home, and was able to escape without injuries, according to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department.
The fire spread into the attic and “impacted” a back room, said fire Capt. Scott Safechuck.
After being dispatched at approximately 11 p.m., crews extinguished the fire at 11:13 p.m.
The Lompoc Fire Department also responded to the scene.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
