Jazz/blues singer Madeleine Peyroux, with special guest Joy Clark, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, March 17, at the Lobero Theatre in Santa Barbara.

Thirty years after her formative busking days in Paris, Peyroux now performs to sell-out worldwide tours. She is the curator of nine albums, and holds a BBC International Artist of The Year honor.

The current tour marks the reissue of her 2004 best-selling album “Careless Love.” In addition to material from “Careless Love,” the set also includes a performance of “Walkin’ After Midnight” (originally made famous by Patsy Cline), as well as a rendition of the Burton Lane/Frank Loesser pop standard “I Hear Music.”

Musician Clark creates soulful original compositions that celebrate peace and the power of love. Clark has shared the stage with the likes of The Indigo Girls, Brandi Carlile, and Cyril Neville. She continues to tour with Allison Russell and was also part of “The Returner” album, recognized with a 2023 Grammy win.

The artist signed a recording contract with Ani DiFranco’s Righteous Babe Records and her first two singles were released in the fall of 2023. Joy’s debut full-length album will be released in early summer 2024, and she will be touring solo and with her band to support the record.
