Three people were shot — and one later died — late Saturday night in Lompoc, according to the Lompoc Police Department.
At about 10:25 p.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting in the alley behind North F and G streets, said Sgt. Vincent Magallon.
“Officers located three victims with gunshot injuries,” Magallon said. “The victims were all transported to surrounding area hospitals for treatment, and one victim later died of his injuries.”
One victim was airlifted by Calstar medical helicopter to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.
The names, ages and conditions of the victims were not released.
“This is an ongoing investigation and anyone with information is urged to contact the Lompoc Police Department,” Magallon said.
