The Theatre Group at SBCC continues its 2024-25 season with the comedy “Sherwood: The Adventures of Robin Hood” by Ken Ludwig, Feb. 26-March 15 at the Garvin Theatre on City College’s West Campus, 900 block of Cliff Drive, Santa Barbara.

Directed by Katie Laris, the show is packed with thrills, romance, laughter and immortal characters like Little John, Friar Tuck and Maid Marian.

“Sherwood: The Adventures of Robin Hood” tells the enduring story of a hero of the people who is up for any challenge to best the rich and ridiculous, whether in tests of wit or weaponry.

“This new adaptation, crafted by theatrical superstar Ken Ludwig, is a fast-paced, frothy and funny story sure to please the whole family,” the Theatre Group at SBCC said. “So get ready to duck a quarterstaff or two; you won’t want to miss a moment of the swashbuckling fun.”

The cast of “Sherwood: The Adventures of Robin Hood” features Adrian Arias, Rachel Jordan Brown, ElleDeja Connolly, Justin Davanzo, Tyler Gilbert, Brian Harwell, Charlotte Hecker, Adam Hibberd, Emiliana Jasper, Zachary Johnson, Alex Keever, Will Muse, Sean O’Shea, Avery Resnick, Even Roush, Jenna Scanlon, Nicholis Sheley, Raymond Wallenthin, and Isabel Watson.

Performances are 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday; 2 p.m. Sundays. Previews are 7:30 p.m. Feb. 26-27. The 2 p.m. performance on Sunday, March 2 will be live-captioned for those who need assistance.

Ticket prices: Previews are $20 general; $17 seniors and SBCC staff; $10 students. Friday and Saturday evening shows cost $29 general admission; $25 for seniors and SBCC staff; $19 for students.
