Solvang Theaterfest invites local music lovers to enjoy its Music in the Garden concert series, a seven-show lineup in the Theaterfest Garden.
Theaterfest is also offering a new Series Value Pass that includes admission to all seven concerts in the series, plus complimentary access to the Independence Day Grill & Chill celebration featuring the Red Coyote Band.
Set under the oak trees in the garden at Solvang Festival Theater, the Sunday afternoon series features tribute artists, Americana storytellers, jazz performers, bluegrass favorites, roots musicians, and singer-songwriter tributes.
“Music in the Garden has become one of the most beloved traditions of our summer season, complementing PCPA’s musical performances on the theater stage,” said Chantel Green, Solvang Theaterfest executive director.
“The Series Pass is a convenient way for guests to enjoy an entire summer of live music, while saving money and becoming part of the Theaterfest community,” Green said.
The 2026 concert lineup:
Petty Party — Sunday, June 14, 3-5 p.m.: A high-energy tribute to Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers.
Stephen Styles — Sunday, June 28, 3-5 p.m.: Americana and folk-rock performer known for storytelling and heartfelt songwriting.
2nd annual Grill & Chill featuring Red Coyote Band — Saturday, July 4, 1-3 p.m.: Post-parade celebration with live music, summer fun and community festivities.
The Amanda Castro Band — Sunday, July 19, 3-5 p.m.: Vintage jazz, swing and classics performed with style.
Dave Stamey — Sunday, July 26, 3-5 p.m.: Acclaimed cowboy singer-songwriter and entertainer whose music captures the spirit of the American West.
Salty Strings — Sunday, Aug. 2, 3-5 p.m.: High-energy bluegrass ensemble delivering string-band favorites.
Shawn Jones Big Band Project — Sunday, Aug. 9, 3-5 p.m.: Blend of roots, Americana, blues and rock.
Dreamland Band featuring Kimberly Ford — Sunday, Aug. 23, 3-5 p.m.: Tribute performance celebrating the music of Joni Mitchell.
Gates open 30 minutes before each performance.
Priced at $200, the Music in the Garden Series Pass offers the lowest per-show ticket price, and guarantees access to every concert in the lineup, plus free admission to the Independence Day event.
Individual concert tickets available for $35 per person, per show. The Independence Day Grill & Chill is $10 per person, with tickets available at the door only.
