The Santa Maria Public Library is partnering with the Santa Barbara County Public Defender’s Office and the nonprofit OneJustice to provide a free criminal record clearance clinic to the community.

Individuals interested in this free service should make an appointment with OneJustice by calling 323.739.8093.

During the clinic, individuals with appointments will have the opportunity to meet one on one with volunteer attorneys to complete the criminal record expungement and Proposition 47 reduction process.

It will be held at the Santa Maria Public Library from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, May 3.

The library’s hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The library is closed on Sunday. It is located at 421 S. McClelland St.
